Pleated Blinds

Pleated Blinds are extremely versatile and are used in various different blind systems:

  • Conservatories (windows & roofs)

  • Bi-Fold Doors

  • Perfect Fit Blinds

  • Pleated Freehanging Blinds

Pleated Blinds are very thin in their construction and do not take up much space, they also bunch up very neatly leaving most of the glass/window on show, which is why they are popular in conservatory windows and doors and bi-folding/patio doors.

Pleated Blinds either have a single layer of fabric or two layers of fabric creating a pocket in the middle which is design to trap heat and regulate the temperature of your room (this particular option is also known as Honeycomb or Cellular Blinds).

A very popular option is to opt for the ‘Top-Down Bottom-Up’ operation which allows you to cover multi zones of the window for ultimate privacy and light control. The pleats are normally 25mm thick (micro fabric options available) and therefore look very neat, uncluttered and contemporary.

Many fabrics include elegant patterns, textured weaves and stunning colours. Most of the fabrics also come with a solar-reflective coating (SRC) to reflect the sun, contribute to temperature regulation and protect your furniture.
