Linings

The choice of lining can make a significant difference to both the appearance and performance of a Roman blind. We'll recommend the most appropriate option based on your chosen fabric, room and desired finish.

  • Cotton Sateen Lining – A high-quality standard lining that provides a beautifully finished appearance while gently filtering light.

  • Blackout Lining – Ideal for bedrooms and media rooms where greater light reduction and privacy are required.

  • Interlining – Adds body, softness and fullness to the fabric for a more luxurious, substantial finish.

  • Thermal Lining – Provides an additional layer between the room and glazing to help improve thermal performance.

  • Bonded Fleece Blackout Lining – Combines excellent light reduction with additional body and structure for a particularly premium finish.

Bespoke Pelmets & Matching Soft Furnishings

For a completely coordinated finish, your Roman blinds can be complemented with matching curtains, bespoke pelmets, cushions and tiebacks, all made using coordinating or matching fabrics.

Our pelmets are made completely to measure, allowing the proportions, projection and overall design to be tailored to the individual window and room rather than relying on standard sizes.

A bespoke pelmet can also conceal the blind mechanism, creating an exceptionally clean and considered finish.

Motorised Roman Blinds

Roman blinds can also be fully motorised, providing effortless operation without visible control chains.

Choose from rechargeable battery or mains-powered systems, with control options including handheld remotes and wireless wall switches. Compatible systems can also be incorporated into app-controlled and smart-home installations.

Multiple blinds can be operated individually or together as a group, making motorisation particularly useful for larger windows or rooms with several Roman blinds.

We'll recommend the most appropriate motor, controls and power option based on the size and specification of your blinds.
